Job Title: Maintenance/Production Support Leader
Location: Kokomo, IN
Hourly Pay Rate: $34.00

We are seeking a hands-on leader to support production operations by driving maintenance best practices, minimizing downtime, and improving equipment performance. This role coaches teams on 5S and CILR activities, leads root cause analysis and countermeasures, manages spare parts and visual controls, and ensures safe, efficient, and reliable production.

Key Responsibilities:




  • Coach and support teams in 5S, autonomous maintenance, and root cause analysis



  • Lead efforts in OEE, MTBF, and MTTR improvements



  • Manage machine reliability and breakdown reduction efforts



  • Support predictive/preventive maintenance and spare parts strategy



  • Facilitate communication between departments and support cross-functional problem-solving



  • Monitor KPIs and support continuous improvement using WCM methodology



  • Fill in for the Production Business Unit Leader as needed




Requirements:




  • High school diploma or GED; 3+ years of industrial automation/maintenance experience



  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills



  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; able to work any shift and overtime as needed



  • Valid driver's license




Preferred:




  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field



  • Lean/CI experience (Six Sigma, Red X, Green Belt)



  • Familiarity with robotics, PLCs, conveyance, and vision systems



  • Union environment and WCM pillar experience
