They drive system-wide improvements through data-driven analysis of patient feedback and collaborate with departments to implement service strategies and training that align with the hospital's mission and values. Acting as both a change agent and coach, the patient advocate champions service excellence while supporting staff recognition and development across all levels of care. What you'll do

  • Collaborates with patients, families, staff, and physicians to resolve complaints and drive service recovery.
  • Acts as a catalyst for system improvements by addressing recurring patient experience issues through performance initiatives.
  • Communicates and reinforces the hospital's mission, vision, and values to enhance the patient experience.
  • Partners with departments to implement service strategies, provide training, and support customer service excellence.
  • Conducts patient rounds and gathers feedback to identify opportunities for recognition and performance coaching.
  • Develops strong professional relationships across the organization to analyze patient experience data and improve processes.
  • Champions service excellence by modeling best practices and facilitating ongoing education and leadership coaching.
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a health, mental health, counseling, social work, or related profession.
  • 5 years of experience in acute or emergency medical care, mental health care or treatment of addictions performing counseling/ social services or direct clinical care functions.
