What to Expect
As a Document Systems QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our internal document management systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to test complex document workflows, integrations, and user interfaces. Your expertise will be crucial in identifying defects early in the development cycle and providing valuable feedback to improve system functionality. You'll have the opportunity to build and maintain automated test frameworks that enhance our testing efficiency. The role requires a balance of manual and automated testing approaches, with a focus on maintaining document integrity, security, and performance across our enterprise systems. You will be an essential part of our quality-focused team that takes pride in delivering robust document solutions to our internal customers.

What You'll Do
  • Design and execute comprehensive test plans for document management systems and related internal services
  • Perform integration testing between document systems and other enterprise applications
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard frameworks
  • Conduct full stack testing across frontend interfaces and backend services
  • Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution using test management tools
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Validate document workflows, permissions, and security controls meet business requirements
  • Create and maintain test documentation including test cases, procedures, and reports
  • Participate in agile ceremonies and provide quality assurance insights during sprint planning
  • Perform performance and load testing of document processing capabilities

What You'll Bring
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance
  • Strong understanding of test automation frameworks in one of Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress
  • Experience testing integrations between document systems and other enterprise applications
  • Proficiency in writing and executing SQL database queries for test validation
  • Knowledge of log analysis using tools like Splunk for troubleshooting and monitoring
  • Experience with API testing using Postman, or similar tools
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments

    Expected Compensation
    $144,000 - $216,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

    Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
