Biotechnology R&D Intern

This internship offers flexible part-time hours (15-20 hrs./week) during the academic year, with the potential to transition to full-time (40 hrs./week) during summer break.

• Support standard lab activities including media preparation, sterilization, and equipment maintenance.

• Support lab work, run experiments, analyze data, and share results

• Perform molecular biology and microbiology techniques under supervision.

• Independently execute experiments and maintain a safe, collaborative lab environment.

• Analyze data, maintain accurate documentation, and communicate progress to advisors.

• Participate in training, present findings to the R&D team, and engage with professionals across departments.

What Makes You the Right Fit

• Current rising junior or senior undergraduate students pursuing a BA/BS from an accredited technical school, college, or university. Graduate students are welcome to apply.

• Majors: Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Genetics, Biochemistry, Food Science, or related fields.

• Ability to commit to a part-time schedule during the academic year and full-time during summer break.

• Basic lab skills in microbiology or virology required.

• Experience with molecular biology tools such as PCR, gel electrophoresis, and microbial culture techniques is a plus.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.

• Strong organizational and communication skills.

• Must have the right to work in the U.S. without restriction.

• Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.
