Job Overview

The Training Coordinator for Operator and Technical Training will be responsible for coordinating training programs aimed at enhancing the skills and knowledge of Komatsu dealer and customer personnel. In this role the coordinator will work with multiple departments to ensure training needs are being met, maintain up-to-date training materials and records, and manage billing processes for training programs. The Training Coordinator will track and process course fees, generate invoices, and ensure timely payments.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Billing Responsibilities: Manage billing processes for training programs, including tracking and processing course fees, generating invoices, and ensuring timely payments. (20%)


  • Report Results:Track and report monthly metrics related to learner profiles/outcomes, course fees, and expenses. (20%)
  • Coordinate Training Logistics:Schedule training sessions, book venues, arrange equipment, and manage training materials to ensure smooth execution of training programs. (20%)
  • Assess Training Needs:Collaborate with department heads and account managers to identify training needs and facilitate course availability. (10%)
  • Maintain Training Records:Ensure accurate and up-to-date training records are maintained for all employees, including attendance, completion, and certification records. (10%)
  • Evaluate Training Effectiveness:Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics, adjusting as necessary. (10%)
  • Support Facility Events:Participate in high volume events providing coordination and support where necessary. (10%)

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Education, Training, Human Resources, or a related field or prior
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-10 years of experience in training coordination, preferably in a technical or industrial setting.
  • Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in training software and tools. Basic knowledge of accounting principles and billing processes. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications in training and development are a plus.
  • Travel: <20% domestic travel - weekdays only. Possibility of once annual foreign travel.
