Make banking a Fifth Third better General Function: The Director II, Private Bank is responsible for leading a team of advisors to achieve growth objectives including financial and client experience goals while continuously managing risk and keeping the client at the center of everything we do. Drives and inspires strategic execution of Private Bank value proposition with high net worth and ultra high net worth clients and prospects. Reports to the region Managing Director Private Bank. Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Banks risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for providing employees timely, candid and constructive performance feedback; developing employees to their fullest potential and provide challenging opportunities that enhance employee career growth; developing the appropriate talent pool to ensure adequate bench strength and succession planning; recognizing and rewarding employees for accomplishments. MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: . Bachelors degree required. Advanced degree desirable . Minimum 10 years experience in the financial services industry with proven sales experience and achieving top quartile results in client experience; prior management experience required . Strong demonstrated track record of growing balance sheet, granting credit, investment management and acquiring Assets Under Management in the high net worth/ultra high net worth area. .High level of knowledge concerning investments and financial markets. . Possesses strong communication skills and has a good working knowledge of the bank's products and services. . This position requires S.A.F.E. Act registration at the time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS). Normal office environment with little exposure to dust, noise, temperature and the like. . Extended viewing of a CRT screen. .
