What You'll Do: OCC is seeking an individual who will lead a team of engineers specializing in desktop engineering and end-user computing. This role focuses primarily on people management, strategic direction, and resource allocation while providing technical guidance to the team. This position will be responsible for developing and improving the end-user workstation environment. The role will provide operational support for existing and future end-user computing architectures. Responsibilities also include designing solutions to support existing and future services and enhancing security posture. Lead and manage a team of talented engineers by providing guidance, mentoring, and support to ensure delivery of high-quality solutions Establish strategic direction for desktop engineering initiatives aligned with organizational goals Conduct regular performance reviews and career development discussions with team members Package application deployments for end-user computing solutions Management of profile data technologies Provide technical oversight and strategic guidance Translate business requirements into technical roadmaps for the team to execute Meet with Business, IT and Security Leaders to develop requirements and communicate changes to the environment Challenge the status quo with new ideas and drive innovation for the end -user experience Apply comprehensive knowledge of concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on technical assignments Automate processes in the end-user experience space Lead, design, develop, enhance, debug, and implement software Maintain and troubleshoot Office 365 environment Process new hire email provisioning requests Remove barriers and obstacles from end-user technology to enable the business Provide tactical and strategic input on the overall end-user experience Provide on-call support according to assigned schedule Document changes, policies, procedures and drawings Lead projects of various sizes and schedules Demonstrated vendor management experience, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, relationship management, and performance evaluation Perform other duties as assigned

[Required] Experience supporting Windows desktop operating system environments [Required] Experience deploying applications across enterprise desktop workstations using modern tools [Required] Experience with a scripting language [Required] Minimum of 3+ years of experience with VDI management solutions [Required] Minimum of 3+ years of experience with O365 [Required] Desktop Application Troubleshooting [Required] Experience operating in a DevOps culture [Required] Passion to identify, investigate, and drive new technology within the organization [Required] Experience with delivering VDI environment leveraging VMware Horizon and instant clone desktops
Education and/or Experience:
[Required] Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field or equivalent experience [Required] Minimum 3 years of experience in desktop engineering or end-user computing roles [Required] Minimum 2 years of experience in people management roles

- The salary range listed for any given position is exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses. If hired at OCC, your final base salary compensation will be determined by factors such as skills, experience and/or education.

Salary Range $142,500.00 - $193,900.00
Incentive Range 8% to 15%
