Clerical Assistant (Child Support Financial)


Pay Rate: $15.75 - $23.63 Per Hour



Closing Date: August 4th, 2025, or sooner upon receipt of the first 50 application submissions received.


Job Summary: The Clerical Assistant uploads and scans child support documents into a database filing system. Prints and mails paperwork out and performs other varied clerical tasks.


Job Responsibilities:



  • Upload all financial e-mail inbox documents into Onbase. Search for signed child support documents in our WIKIDS e-file system and upload them into Onbase. Scan any other child support orders coming from Clerk of Courts or any other misc. documents from the scanning inbox bin.
  • Document any checks that come in from the mailroom into our KIDS database system and send checks in mail to the child support trust fund. This may include investigative work searching for the correct participant.
  • Print out payment records via our KIDS database system to be mailed out to rental assistance programs. This may also include faxing documents to trust fund for child support verification.
  • Mail out any documents manually or automatically printed from the child support system.
  • Pick up any documents or files from Clerk of Courts.
  • Other miscellaneous clerical duties such as picking up mail, stocking copy paper, processing reports, printing payment records, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Minimum Requirements:



  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Current resident of the State of Wisconsin
  • At least one-year of full-time clerical or administrative work experience is required
  • Basic knowledge of computer and software applications such as word processing and spreadsheets



Required Skills and Abilities:


Team player with the ability to work harmoniously and effectively with both co-workers and external contacts. Must possess oral and written communication skills. Frequent contact with employees across other departments and external entities to gather factual information of a confidential manner. The ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, routine reports, forms and correspondences. The ability to Lift/Carry/Push/Pull up to 05lbs as needed.
