Business Specialist

• This role will support our Perioperative Services Department at UH Portage!
• Day Shift: Start Time 7am
• M-F/No weekends or holidays.

What You Will Do

• Facilitates effective Inventory Control operations of the unit. 40%
• Participate in the billing process including reconciliation and quality control. 40%
• Organizing, filing and documentation. 15%
• Promotes safety and standards of performance. 5%

• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Complies with all policies and standards.
• For specific duties and responsibilities, refer to documentation provided by the department during orientation.
• Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
