Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Supply Analyst.
In this role, the successful candidate as a Supply Analyst, you will play a critical role in optimizing our supply chain operations, ensuring efficient inventory management, and contributing to NYU Langone Healths success. The Supply Analysts mind set is proactive, focusing on minimizing supply constraints from occurring. They use their strong analytical skills to calculate supply risk and optimal inventory levels, including safety stock. They incorporate the use of internal and external data in their analysis, interpretation of the results, and development of action plan. Critical to the success of this role are strong data analytical and communication skills. This role works cross-functionally with key stakeholders to meet their goals and objectives.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prevent supply risk or surplus from occurring by utilizing external and internal data to create an inventory strategy.
- Determine optimal inventory targets and facilitate the safety stock replenishment process.
- Forecast demand needs and work closely with suppliers to plan for current and future demand.
- Calculate optimal inventory targets, incorporating knowledge of outliers, exclusions, and variations.
- Develop and implement solutions to issues identified with a proactive approach.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders both internal and external to meet goals and objectives.
- Analyze proactive reporting from external parties to identify trends and opportunities.
- Collaborate with suppliers to hedge again supply risk and create a continuity of supply.
- Monitor primary and substitute item inventory, facilitate conversion back to primary item.
- Create, maintain, and improve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Present pertinent data to leadership on a routine basis.
- Participate in special projects as need.
- Escalate urgent issues to leadership as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Bachelor's degree required with a minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience.
Strong analytical background with experience in Excel.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to upper management teams.
Experience in leading projects, problem solving, and a strong history of working with cross-functional partners.
Strong sense urgency, and high level of accountability.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with supplier/end user relations and supply chain management technologies.
Able to demonstrate a strong history of influencing cross functional teams, both within supply chain, and with external partners.
Experience working in fast paced environments; proven track record of adapting to evolving business needs.
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $67,771.14 - $98,050.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
