About the role:

Gartner Executive Programs (ExP) is a service within Gartner Executive Technology Services (ETS) and is the indispensable tool for digital leaders. It is an exclusive membership-based organization serving over 8,500 CIOs and senior IT leaders across 90 countries. These members (including Fortune 500 companies & Governments around the world) benefit from the convenience of a single source of knowledge and insight focused on CIO-level challenges, service delivery in their context, the shared knowledge of the world's largest community of CIOs, and the assurance of Gartner objectivity and independence.

In the Global Enterprise and Research Board Team we are responsible for delivering value to many of Gartner's Largest Most complex clients. This position, is a critical member of the broader Leadership Team of a growing and dynamic part of the Business, helping shape the future of how we service these clients. In this role you will be a leader of leaders with overall responsibility for a team of 20 Senior Executive Partners (including 10-12 directly). Accountable for a portfolio of approximately 300 executive clients. This role will also be responsible for continuing to build a high-quality team of Service Delivery associates and ensure operational consistency and best practice implementation in driving retention, growth. Through the VP Service Delivery's leadership and direction, the region will achieve or exceed retention and growth targets and contribute to achieving ExP's Mission Critical Priorities

Skilled listener with high levels of emotional intelligence to understand the needs of stakeholders and adapt messages for greater impact, support, and commitment.
  • Digital Business Expert with market knowledge and awareness of the if technology. Has direct experience with "business technology", "front end IT" technology, systems and processes to win, serve and retain customers."
  • Disciplined Prioritizer that manages one's time effectively, focusing on the most critical, customer-centric activities. Balances multiple priorities and successfully adjusts priorities as needed. Ability to take on new challenges and systematically prioritize competing priorities that vary in level of complexity.

What you will do:

  • Responsible for putting into action the overall Global Enterprise ExP strategy within the region by leading, motivating and managing the service delivery team while being held accountable for the retention rate of members in region and collaborate closely with Sales to achieve renewals and growth
  • Champion and continually coach to the EXP Operating Model, centered around clients and including driving adoption of new programs and initiatives designed to improve client experience and engagement
  • Demonstrate Gartner's Leadership Pillars, and continually apply best practices as it relates to hiring great talent, providing coaching and feedback, and managing performance
  • Maintain a high level of understanding and knowledge of Gartner's vision, structure, culture, philosophy, operating principles, values and code of ethics in order to coach, motivate and engage staff to provide excellent value to our members
  • Develop and foster collaborative relationship with Sales, Research and other key Gartner business units, establish and maintain solid working relationships with various internal entities to create a comprehensive, well-designed strategy for growth and retention in the region
  • Help your team solve complex member challenges and channel strategic advice to senior executives in commercial and government organizations (and across industries)
  • Coach your team to execute world class client engagements consistently and at scale by helping your team identify and shape enterprise mission critical priorities, diagnose and assess digital maturity using data-driven tools
  • You will also, train and direct your team in the use and application of modern executive-level engagement techniques and the application of Gartner research resources, create innovative solutions by directing organizational assessments, benchmarking, and development of a customized client engagement plan in accordance with overall Gartner methodology and product deliverables
  • Manage the growth and risk of a client portfolio with responsibility for delivering value, contributing towards growth, and achieving strong client retention outcomes
  • Build a diverse and inclusive team - through management of the recruiting, hiring, and training processes
  • Forge trusted partnerships with Sales counterparts and execute on proven programs to enhance prospect cultivation, accelerate account plan development, and deliver on value demonstration activities
  • Collaborate extensively with a wide range of internal partners to help develop Gartners Global Enterprise Business

What you will need:

  • If you have earned your Bachelor's degree (Master's degree preferred) with a minimum of 15 years of experience as a former C-level technology executive, ideally with large scale and complex responsibilities, or have Consulting and/or Advisory experience in multiple executive-level roles then we want to talk to you

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 232,000 USD - 270,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
