Since 1962, Protective Life's Asset Protection Division has been a trusted provider of F&I solutions for the automotive industry.
Our APD Operations team supports and enhances these solutions, and we are seeking a dynamic, flexible, and adaptable Change Management Communication Associate to join us. This critical role involves managing and facilitating change within APD Operations, ensuring minimal disruption and fostering successful adoption of new behaviors, technology, and processes as our Change Management discipline continually evolves.
This role blends project management operations (PMO) expertise with corporate communications skills to support strategic initiatives and foster a culture of adaptability and growth.
As a key contributor, you'll lead change efforts across the organization-designing strategies, engaging stakeholders, and delivering impactful messaging that drives adoption and alignment. What You'll Do:
  • Lead Change Initiatives: Develop and implement change management strategies that support project goals and promote a positive change culture.
  • Drive Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate cross-functional collaboration, coordinate change activities, and ensure alignment across teams.
  • Deliver Strategic Communications: Create clear, engaging content (emails, memos, presentations) that informs and inspires action.
  • Analyze Impact: Assess how changes affect people and processes, identify risks, and guide communication and training efforts.
  • Support Training Programs: Collaborate on the design and delivery of training to support successful change adoption.
  • Measure Success: Establish metrics, track progress, and report outcomes to stakeholders.
  • Advance Strategic Goals: Partner with business leaders to align change efforts with organizational priorities.
Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge Required
  • Proven experience in both project management operations and corporate communications.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (moderate to advanced).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust across all levels of the organization.
  • Adaptability and sound judgment in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a PR, Marketing, or Business-related field or 5+ years of relevant experience in change management or communications.
  • Experience in the financial services industry preferred.
  • Familiarity with change management methodologies and tools is a plus.
  • Industry designations or certifications (e.g., Prosci, CCMP) are a plus.
Protective's targeted salary range for this position is $56,000 to $75,000. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors, including but not limited to, job location, skills, and experience. The range listed is just one component of Protective's total compensation package for employees.
This position also offers additional incentive opportunities through an annual incentive based on individual and Company performance.
