Overview:

Based in Northern, VA, Axiologic Solutions LLC has opportunities for you to become part of our high-quality team that delivers innovative solutions to key federal clients. We are currently seeking a Strategic Communications Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the Communications Team for a Program Management Office of a complex, state of the art, enterprise information technology system.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify workflow and/or digital artifact production and dissemination inefficiencies, and propose technical solutions that improve processes and/or address client concerns.

  • Work with the communications team to write, release, and manage apps, tools, blog posts, technical guides, and/or instructional videos.

  • Work independently and/or take creative direction from the communications chief and/or other program leadership to formulate and develop concepts that simplify complex technical concepts.

  • Oversee the development, design, and production of digital and print products that satisfy a creative brief.

  • Be proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.

  • Develop, write and edit communications for senior executives, including emails, congressional notifications, speeches, and talking points for internal and external presentations.

  • Develop creative strategies for communicating to employees and industry partners, taking advantage of an executive's unique voice and the needs of different audiences.

  • Plan the frequency and channels of communication and coordinate stakeholders across different areas of the Agency, defense intelligence enterprise, and the intelligence community.

  • Monitor multiple communications channels for incoming request for information.

Qualifications:

  • Must have an active/current TS/SCI and be able to pass a CI Poly.

  • Must have at least 12 years' experience providing similar strategic communications support in the DoD/IC or other federal government agency.

  • Must have 5 Years' IT consulting experience

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent training and experience in Strategic/Corporate Communications, Public Relations, or related field.

  • Exceptional verbal and written presentation, critical thinking, and analytical skills with the ability to quickly identify appropriate strategic communication techniques for a given scenario under tight timelines.

  • Knowledge of AP style.

  • Advanced Experience with Microsoft Office Products.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in public affairs, strategic communications or public relations experience, preferably in a corporate communications or similar setting in the DoD/IC.

  • Project management experience, including overseeing a team managing deliverables for multiple clients

  • Understanding of the IC, and DoD; familiarity with system development and integration.

Travel Requirements:

  • Travel may be required within Washington National Capital Region (NCR) and other organizational locations CONUS and OCONUS on an as-needed basis for customer or corporate requirements.

Level of Responsibility:

Work includes the exercise of discretion and independent judgment concerning matters of administrative/operational needs.

Reporting Chain:

  • This position reports directly to Axiologic Solutions' assigned Task Order Lead.

Level of Supervision Required:

The supervisor sets the overall objectives and resources available. The employee plans and carries out the assignment resolves most of the conflicts, coordinates work with others and interpret policy on own initiative. The employee keeps the supervisor informed of progress, potentially controversial matters, or far-reaching implications.

Work Environment:

  • This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate within a team environment.

  • Ability to type, sitting or standing, to complete work functions for hours at a time; ability to move between sitting, standing and walking on a frequent basis.

  • This is a full-time position, requiring 40 hours per week on site, Monday through Friday, within the contract hours of 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
