Description
The HR Operations Coordinator will provide comprehensive human resources support to the supply chain operations team. This role is responsible for implementing HR policies and programs, supporting talent acquisition, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and company standards.
Location: Dallas, TX
Pay Rate: $29 an hour
Duration: 5-6 months
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Support core HR functions including onboarding and training.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Analyze HR metrics and provide insights to improve employee engagement.
  • Assist in the implementation of HR projects and initiatives across the supply chain network.
  • Working knowledge of EEOC, AAP, LOA's
  • Work closely with the hiring managers and recruiters to ensure positions are filled quickly and efficiently
  • Assist with planning and executing onsite job fairs as well as offsite job fairs
  • Supports the annual benefit open enrollment process
  • Maintain internal trackers or systems to ensure hiring and onboarding tasks stay on schedule
  • Participate in the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring partnership with managers for seamless integration by creating immersion plans, drafting new hire announcements, and completing other new hire tasks.
  • Collaborate with shared services (e.g., HR operations, IT, facilities) to ensure all onboarding logistics are completed
  • Facilitate or support new hire orientation sessions and ensure a welcoming day-one experience
  • Prepare onboarding materials and resources, including agendas, presentations, and communications
  • Support continuous improvement of onboarding processes, communications, and tools
  • Support HRIS maintenance and ensuring backend workflows are properly configured
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team
  • Assist with employee file maintenance, internal HR documentation, and special projects as assigned
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
* 1-3 years of HR experience, preferably in a supply chain, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
* Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
* Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, such as logistics, warehousing, or manufacturing.
* Experience with employee life cycle process, HR analytics tools to track and report on key HR metrics.
* Knowledge of safety and OSHA regulations, especially in warehouse or distribution settings.
* Project management skills to lead or support HR initiatives like engagement surveys or training rollouts.
* Experience with HRIS platforms such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, ADP
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
* Bilingual proficiency (e.g., English/Spanish) is a plus.
* Associate's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)
* PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus.
