Job Title: Safety Administrator - Data Center Construction

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a hyper-scaled data center project while supporting the overall safety management team. Position Overview:
The Safety Administrator will play a vital role in supporting the on-site Safety Department throughout the lifecycle of a data center construction project. This position involves working closely with the Project Safety Manager and other site leadership to maintain safety documentation, ensure compliance with safety protocols, and assist with training and reporting. The position is based on-site near Amarillo, Texas, and plays a key role in supporting safety programs for a large-scale project. Key Responsibilities:
Establish and maintain safety department records and files, including project safety documents
Monitor, edit, and update safety documents, record meetings, and manage safety correspondence
Communicate progress, constraints, and any safety-related updates to the Project Safety Manager
Respond to training requests and coordinate safety training that meets project and company standards
Ensure strict adherence to project-specific safety protocols and OSHA 300 logs
Provide clear communication (verbal, written, and electronic) across the safety team and other stakeholders
Assist with compliance in maintaining safety documentation and reporting
Skills & Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or GED required; a Bachelor's degree in safety, occupational health, or a related field is preferred
Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of administrative support experience, with a focus on safety or construction projects
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of OSHA safety standards and site-specific requirements
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Teams, DocuSign)
Experience in construction or familiarity with construction terminology preferred
Other Skills:
Ability to work collaboratively with trade and craft personnel in a field environment
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure
Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Physical and Mental Requirements:
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions on an active construction site
Must be able to climb stairs, ladders, scaffolds, and inspect confined or underground spaces
Ability to lift or manipulate up to 50 pounds and carry or push it 50-100 feet
Must have the ability to work in proximity to loud equipment and wear hearing protection when necessary
Strong visual and auditory abilities, able to interpret safety data, monitor jobsite conditions, and ensure safety compliance
