Jazz Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Sr. Manager, MS 365 Engineering for overseeing support and maintenance and expanding client adoption of the MS 365 ecosystem of tools and services, including Office, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Exchange Online, and others. Reporting to the Leader of the Collaboration & Productivity Applications team, they will use their proven leadership, knowledge, and experience to deliver high-quality execution and operational excellence necessary to support a dynamic global pharmaceutical business.

Primary Responsibilities
  • This role is the primary owner of Jazz's SharePoint Online and OneDrive services.

  • Communicate effectively with coworkers, internal business users, and managed service providers.

  • SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and Exchange Online administration and advanced troubleshooting

  • Work with the Infosec team using MFA, RBAC, Unified Audit Log, Alert Policies, Continuous Access Evaluation, User Password Policies, etc. as they apply to the MS 365 application space.

  • Support the Teams and SharePoint administrators on the deeper technical aspects of Teams and SharePoint including:

    • Advise on and apply Microsoft Teams and SharePoint best practices

    • Leverage the Orchestry tool to standardize the creation and administration of Teams and sites, as well as guest management

    • Manage and partner with SharePoint development Service Providers

  • Assist the End User Engineering team with Intune and OneDrive

  • Support and advise tier one and two groups and sometimes end users on the day-to-day use of supported MS 365 applications

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
  • 5 plus years of progressively increasing responsibility in IT with a minimum of 3 plus years with MS 365

  • Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office 365, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Power Automate, Compliance suite, Stream, and other MS365 tools

  • Experience working with Azure AD, ADFS, eDiscovery, PowerShell, and Intune

  • Microsoft certifications are desirable but not required

  • Experience with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies, devising processes and driving to automated dashboard reporting

  • Working with Managed Service Providers/Partners

  • Extensive and proven operational experience effectively evaluating, designing, implementing, and managing 24x7 IT Operations and associated vendors

  • Ability to use structured approaches for understanding business needs, defining specifications, building, and operating solutions that meet service level targets

  • Proven track record and skills to deeply understand vendor service capabilities, assess risks, formulate partnerships/agreements for consistent delivery of high-quality services and continuously improve value over cost ratio

  • Passion for user experience and operational excellence

  • Strong financial acumen to establish budgets that are driven by plans, accurately forecast costs, efficiently manage variances and improve service value

  • Ability to effectively manage large global deployments of new or enhanced IT end user services using vendors

  • Highly collaborative, accountable, and results driven

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate effectively to large audiences via email and in person

  • Ability to establish strong and productive working relationships at all levels (Admin to CEO)

  • Organizational change management experience is a plus

  • Experience with the pharmaceutical industry is plus but not a requirement

Required/Preferred Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience

Description of Physical Demands
  • Occasional mobility within an office environment

  • Routinely sitting for extended periods of time

  • Work indoors in normal office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, fumes, vibrations and temperature changes

  • Frequent computer use at workstation

  • May move from one work location to another occasionally

  • Responsibilities may require a work schedule that may include working outside of "normal" work hours, in order to meet business demands

Jazz Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices and we strive to provide employees with total compensation packages that are market competitive. For this role, the full and complete base pay range is: $132,800.00 - $199,200.00

Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, and other pertinent factors. The goal is to ensure fair and competitive compensation aligned with the candidate's expertise and contributions, within the established pay framework and our Total Compensation philosophy. Internal equity considerations will also influence individual base pay decisions. This range will be reviewed on a regular basis.

At Jazz, your base pay is only one part of your total compensation package. The successful candidate may also be eligible for a discretionary annual cash bonus or incentive compensation (depending on the role), in accordance with the terms of the Company's Global Cash Bonus Plan or Incentive Compensation Plan, as well as discretionary equity grants in accordance with Jazz's Long Term Equity Incentive Plan.
