Tool and Mold Maintenance Technician

This position is responsible for the repair, maintenance, and upkeep of injection molds and machine components used in the production process. The ideal candidate will have experience working with precision tools and machinery, and a strong commitment to quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform maintenance and repair on injection molds, including cleaning, troubleshooting, and part replacement.
Interpret blueprints and verbal instructions to complete repair and maintenance tasks.
Operate a variety of machines including surface grinders, OD/ID grinders, milling machines, lathes, and EDMs.
Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, indicators, and calipers to ensure work meets specifications.
Evaluate and resolve issues related to mold performance and tooling defects.
Perform configuration changes, seal changes, pin changes, and preventative maintenance (PM) work on molds and tooling.
Conduct visual inspections to ensure conformance with quality standards.
Disassemble, clean, and assess mold components for wear or damage.
Keep the work area clean and organized, following safety and housekeeping protocols.
May be assigned to other duties based on skill level and production needs.
