Interim Sales Director - Health Sector (U.S. Market)

Location: Remote (Preferred: Boston, MA)

Duration: 6-9 months

Our client, a European provider of GPS-free geolocation and motion capture technology is seeking an experienced Interim Sales Director to drive its commercial expansion in the U.S. healthcare and biotech sectors.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Lead and implement a direct sales strategy focused on large pharmaceutical and biotech companies.
  • Position the company's motion capture technology as essential tools for phase 3 clinical trials.
  • Engage with regulatory bodies like the FDA and EMA to support validation efforts.
  • Recommend a scalable U.S. commercial structure.
  • Assist in recruiting a permanent U.S.-based sales leader.
  • Build a qualified pipeline and establish repeatable sales processes.


Ideal Candidate Profile:



  • Deep experience in clinical trials and medical devices.
  • Strong understanding of FDA validation and regulatory environments.
  • Well-connected in big pharma and biotech-particularly in clinical operations, R&D, and digital health.
  • Proven track record in international business development and long-cycle dealmaking.
  • Skilled at navigating multicultural, cross-continental teams.


Preferred Traits:



  • Entrepreneurial, high-energy, and self-motivated.
  • Excellent scientific communicator and active listener.
  • Comfortable engaging stakeholders from the C-suite to operational roles.
  • Capable of converting early-stage conversations into concrete partnerships.


Language: Fluent English required; French is a plus.
