SPA's Integrated Warfare Systems Group (IWSG) comprises more than 100 staff that provide program and project management, systems and digital engineering, software, test & evaluation, logistics, cybersecurity, international/Foreign Military Sales, strategic communications, and IT support to more than 40 programs and projects in the Program Executive Office for Integrated Warfare Systems, Above Water Sensors Directorate (PEO IWS 2.0) and customers in Naval Surface Warfare Dahlgren Division's Integrated Combat System department, Office of Naval Research, and the Navy's Team SUBS office.#MC



Responsibilities

The successful candidate will serve as the Electronic Warfare (EW) In-Service Installation Manager supporting IWS2E office within the PEO IWS 2.0 Above Water Sensors Directorate.

The introduction of Long Endurance Expendible Decoy (LEED), Scaled Onboard Electronic Attack (SOEA), and VPX fielding to the IWS2E family of systems and upgrades have created new challenges for IWS 2.0. The successful candidate will ensure programmatic milestones for funding, hardware, and tasking are accurate and support successful execution of the overall EW installation tasking; analyze installation performance, installation schedule, and budget with regards to cost, schedule and performance identifying any impacts to budget requirements; provide recommendations to the budgeting cycles and cost estimates to ensure EW task are accurately captured/accounted for and installations are maintained with no reduction in program funding or scheduling; review detailed funding requirements to assist with the creation of cost estimates so that current estimates and actual cost are available and accurate to support data calls and budget cycles; collaborate across PEO IWS, Ship Platform Managers, and Ship Class Planning Yards in the execution and planning of current and future EW installations; among other tasks.

Remote work is allowed in this position, however you must be able to travel regularly. The regular travel will include but is not limited to approximately 6 trips per year to attend face-to-face meetings or observe installations onboard ships.

Salary range: 120k-130k.



Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in STEM
  • Demonstrated experience with surface electronic warfare and in-service installations
  • DoD Secret clearance, and the ability to maintain this throughout employment
