Working under limited supervision, the Planner is responsible for planning and scheduling maintenance plans for new or moved surface equipment to minimize downtime, reduce the risk of equipment failures, and maximize efficiency. The role leads the development of maintenance schedules for the operations team, collaborates with the DSC and Production teams to synchronize activities and avoid maintenance downtime, and ensures the invoice aligns with the cost estimate and that jobs are closed properly. The role manages the CMMS database, documents all maintenance activities in the system, and manages the preparation of SAP PM notifications and work orders for minor subsurface well maintenance limited to non-BOPE jobs. The role prioritizes, organizes, and completes basic assignments on time with some direction, frequently seeking guidance from experienced peers when faced with routine problems, and exhibits proficiency in maintenance and repair for rotating equipment, surface equipment, instrumentation and electrical equipment, and pipeline repair. The role also reviews tasks, SOWs, and programs to ensure proper risk ranking from a Safety, Environmental, Regulatory, and Operational perspective are performed and communicated, and performs an evaluation of the work proposed and all required personnel and equipment.

* Plans and schedules maintenance plans for new or moved surface equipment utilizing a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to minimize downtime, reduce the risk of equipment failures, and maximize efficiency while adhering to regulatory guidelines and industry best practices.
* Ensures the invoice aligns with the cost estimate and the job is closed by verifying accuracy of charges, comparing them against initial estimate, resolving any discrepancies, and updating records to reflect job completion. Creates and runs reports for follow up work, audits, inspections.
* Leads development of maintenance schedules for technical services team covering assets outlined in maintenance plans, including reviewing equipment performance data, and adjusting schedules as needed to optimize resource allocation and prioritize critical tasks.
* Manages preparation of SAP PM notification and work orders for minor subsurface well maintenance limited to non-BOPE jobs (i.e. swab, slickline, plunger maintenance, hot oil/water, regulatory, routine testing, batch/chemical/scale jobs, long stroke/respace, cap string inspection, fluid levels, dynamometer).
* Collaborates with the DSC and Production teams to synchronize activities and avoid maintenance downtime, follows up on completion of jobs with the vendor, and ensures EHS compliance.
* Manages CMMS database and documents all maintenance activities in the system, including maintaining detailed work orders and maintenance history, capturing SOPs, maintenance manuals and guidelines, maintenance costs, equipment inspections and tests.
* Implements modifications to routine tasks around maintenance plan scheduling and actively participates in proactive safety and continuous improvement activities, demonstrating a visible commitment to EHS.
* Completes basic tasks based on technical recommendations, receives training to learn fundamentals such as scheduling, resource coordination, documentation, and develops basic knowledge of business principles and industry practices.
* Prioritizes, organizes, and completes basic assignments on time with some direction, frequently seeking guidance from experienced peers when faced with routine problems, and exhibits proficiency in maintenance and repair for rotating equipment, surface equipment, instrumentation and electrical equipment, and pipeline repair.

Education:
* High School Diploma/General Education Diploma (GED)/Higher Secondary education and/or commensurate work experience is required. Associate's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or any other related discipline is preferred.

Experience:
* 6+ years of relevant experience, preferably in E&P Operations specializing in areas such as Production, Completions/ Workover Processes, and Artificial Lift, Rod Pump, Gas Lift, and/or Plunger Lift Operations, Maintenance Planning, Scheduling, and Coordination, Project Management or a related field. Industry experience is preferred.
