Genesis10 is currently seeking a Data Analyst with our client in the financial industry located in Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract position. Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end documentation of data lineage for key data assets across Consumer Banking and enterprise platforms Design and validate lineage templates to support regulatory deliverables (e.g., MRIA remediation) Perform root cause analysis on data quality issues and support remediation plans in collaboration with DQ and control teams Partner with system owners, data stewards, and technology teams to gather metadata and identify data movement control gaps Collaborate with compliance, audit, and data risk teams to align with enterprise governance standards and EDM policies Develop and maintain repeatable processes for lineage updates, and control documentation Requirements: 7+ years of experience in enterprise data management, metadata, or lineage roles within banking or highly regulated industries Advanced Excel Skills, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Data Analysis, Calculations, formatting and operational functionality of data Proficient in MS Products such as Word and PowerPoint Strong analytical and organizational skills; ability to collect, organize, and analyze information Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills, including the ability to work in person, virtually, and in a globally-staffed environment Ability to understand, apply, analyze, evaluate, and create processes and flows to help reduce risk to the client Able to bridge gap between technology and business and clearly articulate requirements and solutions Adept at handling multiple tasks and adapt to daily changing requirements Demonstrated success in delivering lineage documentation for MRIA, CCAR or other regulatory initiatives Strong understanding of data governance frameworks Familiarity with data movement controls, system flow documentation, and data remediation workflows Proven collaboration with cross-functional teams (tech, compliance, risk, audit) Excellent documentation, analytical, and communication skills Pay range: $48.89 - $56.89 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
