Area Sales Manager EI

Your main responsibilities

Open to candidates in any of the following locations: Los Angeles, CA / San Diego, CA / San Francisco, CA /Sacramento, CA/ Seattle, WA



PRIMARY FUNCTION:


Develop, implement and drive EI sales strategies and initiatives in support of Area strategic and financial objectives.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:



  • Prepare and implement annual Sales Plan in support of Area and Corporate Objectives.
  • Identify all major potential customers, including national accounts and establish, develop and maintain positive relationships.
  • Organize, focus and direct all Service Sales Representatives on profitably growing our service portfolio.
  • Provide support, training and mentoring to Service Sales force.
  • Track performance vs. objective for all Service Sales Representatives.
  • Coordinate and facilitate Area service sales training programs.
  • Maintain lead role for customer satisfaction policies and programs by working closely with AOM/EI and Service Superintendents.
  • Develop and champion the Service BDP process.


Expected Salary Range Is $139,500 - $174,400 depending on experience

What you bring

I. KNOWLEDGE:
a) Education


Bachelors degree required in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering or related field. Masters degree preferred.


b) Work Experience
Minimum seven to ten years sales experience in elevator or related industry with at least three in a supervisory role.


II. CRITICAL SKILLS:


a. Computer Skills:
Computer literate with working knowledge of Word, Excel, SAP and SMART.


b. Problem Solving:


Maintaining positive business relationships with a multitude of diverse customers requires flexibility, ingenuity and creativity.
Managing a sales force of varied experiences in a wide geographical area. Ensuring consistent application and understanding of Company policies and procedures.
Developing and implementing Area strategies to support sales, product, quality and commercial objectives. Requires complex problem analysis and detailed planning.


c. Additional skills:


Negotiating commercial issues with local customers, and maintaining positive long-term relationships with key accounts, and influential industry consultants. Requires patience, persuasion, negotiation explanation and selling.
Interacting with functional departments within the Business Unit (i.e., Engineering, Manufacturing, Customer Service, and Marketing) Requires clear and concise communications to ensure efficient information flow resulting in superior performance for our customers.
Individual must possess a high degree of stress tolerance, being able to effectively communicate and perform under pressure and opposition.
