This is a hybrid position - (2-3 days in the office in Marlton, NJ)

*Accounting experience preferred.

Summary:

Assists in all phases of financial, operational, joint ventures, technology and data analytics for continuous auditing/monitoring audits s from planning to communicating the results to management. Work closely with the Senior Internal Auditor/Audit Lead to complete audits. Participates in risk assessments, year-end annual audit preparation and special projects. Acts as an Internal Audit representative on meetings, as needed.

Position Responsibilities:

Follow Standard Audit Process to evaluate and assess efficiency and effectiveness of financial, systemic and operating controls to determine compliance with corporate policies and procedures.

Obtains understanding of the customer's business process (es) under audit by working with the customer as a resource.

Perform audit procedures including identifying and defining issues, analyzing evidence and documenting in work-papers.

Evaluate and present audit results along with recommendations using independent judgement for improvement to Senior Auditor or Audit Management.

Execute data analytics projects utilizing analytic tool Diligent, Microsoft Office applications and multiple Virtua systems with supervision of Director of Audit.

Evaluate internal controls and assist in audits to determine compliance with requirements under Uniform Guidance and OMB for federal grants state grand and state aid, compliance with ERISA Section 103(a)(3)(c) and GAAP.

Assists with year-end audits as required along with special projects. Responsible for conducting audit follow up to ensure corrective measures are implemented. Participate in risk assessment to determine internal audit scope and develop annual plans.

Position Qualifications Required / Experience Required:

0-3 years of auditing or accounting experience, internal control testing or other business related experience.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Must have working knowledge of Windows, Word, Excel and Access.

Required Education:

BS degree required, Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.

Annual Salary: $57,823 - $92,371 The actual salary/rate will vary based on applicant's experience as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
