The Human Resources Department is currently recruiting for Recruitment & Classification Analyst positions at the I, II, and III levels. To be considered for each level, you must apply separately to the concurrent recruitments for each level.

 

Our Recruitment & Classification (R&C) Unit is a team of 16 highly motivated, dedicated, and solution-driven professionals who strive to provide excellent customer service to our applicants, County employees, retirees, and the departments we serve. We are supportive and collaborative, working together to successfully craft recruitment strategies to fill a diverse array of positions, conduct comprehensive classification studies, and partner with departments to address organizational opportunities. Working as an R&C Analyst, you will report to a Principal Human Resources Analyst and will be assigned as a business partner to specific departments to address their recruitment and classification needs, as well as provide guidance to and collaborate with County managers regarding human resources rules, regulations, and best practices. You will also:

 

  Develop, coordinate, and execute recruitment strategies for a variety of positions

  Conduct job, historical recruitment, and organizational analyses to determine the most appropriate examination plan for recruitment

  Craft job announcements and effective advertising plans

  Screen applications for appropriate qualifications

  Advise departments on hiring steps from recruitment planning through onboarding and retention

  Provide written and verbal information to the public, employees, retirees, and other interested parties

  Assist in developing formal reports, presentations, and training materials

Paid Parental Leave - May be eligible for up to 8 weeks (320 hours) after 12 months of County employment

Student Loan Debt Relief – County employees may be eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness through the U.S. Department of Education
