The Inside Sales position sells medical, industrial, specialty gases, welding equipment, and hard goods and tools to customers. This position responds to inquiries or concerns from either walk-in customers or those customers that call in, provides additional warehouse support, and works closely with a team of Account Managers to support customers.

In particular, you will:

  • Sell industrial gases, welding equipment, power, and hand tools to customers.

  • Stock inventory and maintain showroom displays.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers

  • Provide support for the field sales representative.

  • Operates the cash register. Enters sales data into the computer and researches information for customers using the computer system.

  • High School Diploma or the equivalent

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in customer service and/or sales experience.

  • Bilingual in Spanish (fluent in speaking, writing and reading) preferred.

  • Knowledge of welding, gases, industrial, safety supply sales desireable.

  • Ability to learn & use various computer software programs/applications. .

  • Ability to handle cash transactions accurately

  • Ability to routinely lift 25 - 75 lbs., and occasionally lift 76 to greater than 125 pounds with the aid of material handling equipment.

  • Lives by Airgas safety programs, OSHA, and all related rules, regulations, procedures which apply to this position's responsibilities.
