DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
- Acts as a liaison between Nintendo of America (NOA) and Nintendo Company Ltd. (NCL) for cross-departmental and global initiatives (e.g., Nintendo Today!, Nintendo Directs).
- Interacts with internal and global Nintendo departments to exchange complex information and provide essential communication related to assigned activities.
- Partners with internal and global teams to collect project information, specifications, and asset availability necessary for promotional support and project workflows.
- Maintains and manages a central information system that tracks projects, calendars, process tasks, and resources.
- Develops recommendations of social media improvement initiatives to resolve identified issues and executes process improvements.
- Documents and evolves team processes to improve efficiency across social media campaign production and publishing.
- Maintains and optimizes the backend of NOA's owned social media channels, including credential management and technical troubleshooting issues.
- Partners with analytics teams to ensure social campaign tagging (e.g., UTM parameters) is consistent and measurable.
- Provides English and Japanese translations for email communications between NOA and NCL.
- Prepares and translates collaboration materials (documents, presentations) in English and Japanese.
- May interpret real-time communication during meetings (virtual and on-site) in English and Japanese.
SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 2-4 years of social marketing and operational experience
- Strong understanding of all social media platforms - both as a marketer and backend operations (e.g., Meta Business Portfolio)
- Excellent business communication skills in English and Japanese
- Excellent project management, facilitation, and analytical skills
- Proven experience using negotiation skills to drive collaboration across varied stakeholders (cross-functional and globally) to ensure timely execution of projects
- Knowledge of project management skills and techniques, including ability to identify and resolve issues, create and track milestones, and manage risk
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, highly confidential environment with fluctuating priorities and deadlines
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including SharePoint and Planner applications
- Video gaming or entertainment industry experience a plus

** This is a CONTRACT position This position is hybrid in Redmond, WA. Hybrid positions require regular onsite work following the schedule and guidelines for their division. This position is not open to fully remote status at this time. This contract position has a base pay range of $40.00- $60.00 per hour and is eligible for benefits through the employing agency. Agency benefits may include medical, dental and vision, 401(k), basic/supplemental life and AD&D insurance, short- and long-term disability insurance, health and dependent care spending accounts, transportation benefits, employee assistance program, paid sick leave, and up to 6 paid holidays per year. All benefits are subject to elections, eligibility requirements, plan and program terms. Benefits offerings will be confirmed at the time of offer by the employing agency, and may differ depending on the employing agency partner.
