Position Summary:

As our Assembler on the first shift you will be responsible for being proficient in the production of high quality cable assemblies. Demonstrated ability to learn new tasks easily and change accordingly due to necessary production requirements. Moderate production work related experience is preferred. This position will support a variety of market segments including Medical, Military, Industrial, and Data communications.

Qualifications & Requirements:




  • Strong communication skills.
  • Minimum of one year's experience in a Wire and Cable Assembly Manufacturing environment or equivalent.
  • Two to four years of demonstrated quality and output in a manufacturing setting preferred.
  • IPC-620 and J-STD-001 certification a plus.

  • Sets up and operates equipment, tools, and fixtures to assemble connectors, labels, and associated parts into complete cable assemblies according to specifications.
  • Conducts in-process inspections and tests, including workmanship, dimensional, and interface gauging, in accordance with product and process specifications.
  • Maintains a safe and clean working environment.
  • Records and documents all assembly-related inspection and test results accurately and on time.
  • Collaborates with Assembly Lead, QA, and Process Engineering to ensure product quality by identifying and resolving assembly issues, and implementing continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Completes all labor, parts, and related transactions accurately and on time.
