Job Description

Primary Function: To provide safety and security services for the Main Campus.

Immediate Supervisor: Director of Support Services

Contacts: Elwyn personnel. Elwyn clientele. funding and regulatory agency personnel, parents, visitors, Maintenance Contractors, and municipal departments and or agencies.

Education: High School Graduate or GED diploma required. Associates degree in Police or Fire Science or related degree preferred. (A valid drivers license in State of residence.) CPR certification required. First Aide preferred. Crisis Intervention Training required.

Experience: Two years in Security, Safety or Fire Fighting experience in an institutional environment required.

All Elwyn team members working in CMS-designated facilities on the Media campus, or those workers that come in direct contact with employees who work in these program facilities, must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or apply for either a medical or religious exemption. If you are offered and accept a position with Elwyn, you will be required to provide proof of your COVID-19 vaccination status or apply for a medical or religious exemption as part of the pre-employment onboarding process.
