Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Project Manager for the School of Nursing.
Among the key duties of the position are the following:
- Oversees all aspects of research studies from inception to completion.
- Provides training and guidance to research assistants and other team members as needed.
- Ensures adherence to NIH guidelines and regulations throughout all research activities.
- Monitors and manages project budgets and expenses, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
- Prepares and submits IRB applications and study protocols.
- Supports the preparation of grant applications, including writing and compiling relevant materials.
- Conducts literature reviews to inform study design and methodology.
- Assists in the preparation and submission of manuscripts to peer-reviewed journals.
- Manages study recruitment efforts, including participant outreach and engagement.
- Maintains accurate and organized study records and documentation.
- Organizes and maintain management tools to facilitate research activities.
- Collaborates with research staff and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project progress.

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience |
- Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Public Health, Social Sciences, or related discipline) and two years of experience in research management or a related role or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

Immunization Requirements
Under Policy 100.3.1 Immunization Policy for Covered Individuals, if employment will commence during Flu Season, Rutgers University may require certain prospective employees to provide proof that they are vaccinated against Seasonal Influenza for the current Flu Season, unless the University has granted the individual a medical or religious exemption.
