Job Summary: The Vice President of Strategic Care Management Execution & LTSS Integration is responsible for driving the operational execution of enterprise care management strategies, with a strong focus on the implementation, integration, and expansion of care management operational and programmatic capabilities to support the Long-Term Services and Supports (LTSS) product. This role translates strategic priorities into structured, repeatable, and compliant operations within care management and across diverse markets and populations. Essential Functions:
- Lead the execution of care management strategic priorities across markets, lines of business, and populations, ensuring timely and sustainable implementation of workflows, systems, and teams
- Drive cross-functional coordination to translate vision into action, connecting product, clinical, and operational goals with frontline execution
- Support rapid-cycle performance improvement efforts to close gaps in quality, compliance, or operational delivery
- Lead urgent or complex special projects that span departments or functions, including time-sensitive initiatives, remediation efforts, and executive-sponsored pilots
- Identify and address performance risks, accelerate strategic initiatives, and drive effective decision-making across the organization
- Provide scalable leadership support during periods of rapid growth, organizational redesign, or geographic expansion
- Oversee operational planning and implementation of care management capabilities for new LTSS programs and acquisitions, including readiness assessments, resource planning, and system integration
- Collaborate closely with the LTSS Product Owner and Integrated Care Teams to align operational delivery with product design, care model expectations, and population needs
- Serve as the operational lead for new LTSS market entries and expansions, ensuring compliant and effective launch and execution
- Oversee the implementation of workforce management models and staffing strategies that align with caseload requirements, service levels, and acuity-based needs-particularly for complex and high-touch populations
- Partner with training and clinical leadership to ensure staff are equipped and prepared to execute across diverse populations and regulatory frameworks
- Ensure LTSS and other care management operations align with federal, state, and contractual requirements, including HCBS guidelines and NCQA standards
- Lead cross-functional root cause analysis, corrective action planning, and enterprise coordination during compliance or audit-related escalations
- Perform any other job duties as requested
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare or related field or equivalent years of relevant work experience is required
- Master's degree is preferred
- Minimum of ten (10) years of clinical operations leadership and/or case management, disease management, medical management, quality improvement experience is required,
- Minimum of five (5) years of senior level management experience is required
- Minimum of five (5) years of Managed Care experience in a multi-market organization
- Experience in a collaborative matrix environment preferred

- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Clinical data analysis and trending skills
- Knowledge of trends in healthcare, managed care, Medicaid/Medicare, long term-care, case/medical management, and quality improvement
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, quality improvement methodologies, and population health management
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

Licensure and Certification:
- Case Management or Managed Care certification and Certification in Healthcare Quality is preferred

Compensation Range: $150,000 - $300,000. CareSource takes into consideration a combination of a candidate's education, training, and experience as well as the position's scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required for the role, and other external and internal data when establishing a salary level. In addition to base compensation, you may qualify for a bonus tied to company and individual performance.
