WHO WE ARE

Metamora Fixture Operations is one of two U.S. fixture production plants supporting Hallmark Cards, Inc. This plant processes orders and manufactures Hallmark's product display concepts found in retail stores. We all work together as one team and value individual contributions. Our culture provides versatile opportunities throughout the facility. The Metamora distribution department meets designated ship dates to Hallmark retailers. The department focuses on supplying the necessary components to Hallmark retailers in a cost-effective and timely manner across two shifts. This includes scheduling and planning of all product lines and fulfillment activities across a variety of Hallmark customers.

WHAT YOUR ROLE ENTAILS AND HOW YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE

As a Distribution Inventory Analyst, you will be responsible for maintaining workflow to the manufacturing and fulfillment areas. Order processing, routing, transportation organization and communication, as well as inventory receipts would be primary tasks throughout the day.

Additional Duties Include:



  • Receive finished goods inventory in the SAP systems and maintains accurate ranking book inventories of finished goods throughout the four divisions of Hallmark Cards.
  • Perform adjustments and receiving of finished goods using the Customer Information Control (CICS) and VAX Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to ensure accurate and timely availability of sales.
  • Initiate the movement of finished goods to satisfy a multitude of Business Unit needs such as internal/external transfers, charity orders, closeouts, by-pass shipments, sample request and discards.
  • Monitor, create and pull daily reports and XPTR screens for accuracy.
  • Keep and maintain file records of activities performed while using a personal computer to input into monthly department reports.



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

The following is required to be considered for this role:



  • At least 18 years of age
  • Able to read, write and understand English
  • At least 1 year of experience in a distribution center environment OR 1 year of experience in inventory control using SAP
  • Professional experience using Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel
