Title: Construction Project Manager (Facilities Engineer) Location: Palmdale, CA 93599 Duration: 6 Months Contract Pay Rate: $70/Hour on w2 without benefits Shift Timing: Day US Citizen Only Job Description: Serve as the primary point of contact for facility improvement projects, representing department capabilities. Lead and manage renovation, expansion, and equipment installation projects from concept to completion. Develop detailed project plans, manage budgets and schedules, and coordinate with contractors and vendors. Analyze facility specifications, regulatory requirements, and construction feasibility for informed decision-making. Collaborate with architecture and engineering firms on design criteria and layout development. Prepare bid documents and construction contracts in compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Conduct routine safety inspections and enforce safety protocols; ensure proper training for personnel. Partner with the Construction Engineering team to inspect construction progress and verify adherence to plans and timelines. Represent the Facilities team across the organization and build strong cross-functional relationships. Required Skills: Minimum 4 years of experience in Construction Project Management. At least 2 years of experience with AutoCAD. 4 years of experience using Microsoft Project. Experience managing projects over $500,000 in scope. Proficient in reading blueprints and using digital measuring devices. Familiarity with ICD-705 compliance requirements. 4 years of hands-on construction experience (preferred). Self-starter with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
