Position Title: Mill Set-Up Operator
Wage: $30/hour based on experience Shift: 1st Hours: Monday-Thursday, 6am-3:30pm; Friday, 6am-10am; Overtime frequently available We are hiring a skilled Mill Set-Up Operator with experience in setting up and operating CNC milling machines. This position is best suited for a detail-oriented machinist who takes pride in producing precision components and can work independently in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be experienced with tooling, setup, and troubleshooting for both small and large parts. Don't miss this opportunity in Kenosha, WI. Mill Set-Up Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Set up CNC milling machines for production runs - Select and install proper tooling, fixtures, and workholding methods - Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings - Verify setups with test runs and make necessary adjustments - Inspect and measure finished parts to ensure they meet specifications - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area - Follow all shop safety practices and protocols Mill Set-Up Operator Requirements: - Proven experience setting up CNC mills (3-axis, 4-axis preferred) - Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills - Comfortable with precision measuring tools (micrometers, height gauges, indicators) - Knowledge of G-code and basic program edits - Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines efficiently QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
