Job Summary

The Senior Facilities Planning Consultant is responsible for aligning planning efforts within Corporate Facilities and acting as liaison to coordinate planning efforts across other Departments by helping develop and maintain a multi-year strategic Corporate Facilities Plan. This role will also develop and drive strategic initiatives, governance, and efficiency efforts across the Department. This role is critical to advancing key initiatives that optimize facilities processes and maximize the value of our assets and cost plan. Responsibilities
  • Partner with Facilities Leadership to develop and maintain a long-term, multi-year Corporate Facilities Plan, establishing goals, targets, strategies, and initiatives that support the Company's business objectives. Ensure a clear roadmap for both active and future projects
  • Partner with FP&A, Airport Affairs, Network Planning, and department planners to ensure facilities projects align to Company initiatives
  • Aid in the governance framework to ensure compliance with Facilities and Corporate Campus design, operational standards, and policies
  • Aid in the Facilities demand intake process and platform management for all Projects and Maintenance requests, ensuring that work is prioritized and organized efficiently across the Corporate Facilities Function
  • Aid in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Facilities and Corporate Campus design and operational standards, ensuring alignment with the company's mission, values, and sustainability objectives
  • Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Senior Leadership, Facilities Teams, and external vendors to ensure that Facilities and Corporate Campus planning efforts are aligned with business needs and within budget
  • Continuously assess and improve Facilities planning processes, ensuring they are efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with corporate goals. Work to streamline processes and remove any inefficiencies
  • Leads and facilitates meetings and presentations to all levels of Leadership
  • May perform other job duties as directed by Employee's Leaders

  • Advanced ability to build and maintain relationships, including cross-functional alliances inside and outside the Corporate Facilities Function and develop high-level of confidence and trust from other department planners and Leadership

  • Advanced in demonstrating adaptability by using past experiences to anticipate issues and address challenging situations
  • Advanced in problem-solving and strategic storytelling
  • Advanced knowledge of strategic and financial analysis with ability to collect and analyze quantitative data to aid in decision-making
  • Ability to proactively identify and facilitate the resolution of complex issues and impactful business problems using a methodical and logical approach
  • Advanced ability to lead and explain complex information or situations in a clear and concise manner, specific to the audience, including Senior Leadership
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks with frequent interruptions and deliver projects within the defined timeline
Education
  • Required: High School Diploma or GED
Experience
  • Expert level experience, expansive and far reaching knowledge in:
    • Strategic planning, managing business projects or initiatives
    • Creating Executive-level materials (PowerPoint decks, reports) and presenting to upper-level management
    • Analytical and quantitative skills with spreadsheets or other qualitative modeling

  • Ability to perform work duties from limited space work station/desk/office area for extended periods of time
  • Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job
  • Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job
Other Qualifications
  • Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must meet confidentiality expectations as to confidential, proprietary and sensitive Company information
  • Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines
  • Air travel with occasional overnight stays required

Pay & Benefits:

Competitive market salary from $122,200 per year to $135,800 per year* depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities are available and awarded at the discretion of the company.
