Overview: Our engineering client is seeking an experienced Network Administrator to support a major infrastructure upgrade at their local site, which is central to their electrical program. This is a contract role expected to last 9 to 12 months, with a strong focus on Cisco SD-WAN and Palo Alto PAN-OS SD-WAN technologies. Key Responsibilities: * Implement upgrades for PAN-OS SD-WAN. * Transition physical hardware from vEdge devices to ISR routers running Viptela OS. * Manage Palo Alto PA400 series firewalls using OnPrem Panorama. * Configure and manage firewalls, Aruba A-OS, and CX switches. * Create and maintain network topology drawings. * Perform additional network-related tasks as needed. Required Skills: * Network Engineering * Cisco Routers & Switches * Palo Alto Firewalls * Routing & Switching (BGP, OSPF) * Infrastructure Troubleshooting * CCNA/CCNP Certification (preferred) Top Technical Competencies: * Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela) * Palo Alto PAN-OS * Aruba Switching (A-OS & CX) * Network Architecture & Documentation Qualifications: * Proven experience in network infrastructure upgrades and firewall management. * Strong understanding of dynamic IP protocols (BGP, OSPF). * Ability to manage complex SD-WAN environments and high workloads. * Mid-to-senior level professional with a solid background in Cisco and Palo Alto technologies. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
