What you will do:

• Coordinate communications between shipping/receiving department and customer service/purchasing group to ensure quality customer support.
• Develop, maintain and execute procedures for the quality handling, packaging, labeling, shipping and receiving of materials.
• Assign daily job responsibilities to shipping and receiving department employees based on availability of resources and inbound/outbound shipping volumes.
• Schedule temporary employees as needed based upon availability of resources and inbound/outbound shipping volumes.
• Train and monitor shipping/receiving department employees in areas of job functions, company policies and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate communications between shipping/receiving departments and other departments to continuously improve the warehouse's ability to service McQuay customers.
• Develop improvements in warehouse policies and procedures to promote increased business profitability, customer support and employee well being.
• Work with other groups within the McQuay parts organization as needed to resolve problems within the business.
• Administer company policies as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2-4 years of related people leadership warehouse or distribution experience
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Ability to learn how to operate power equipment
• Ability to read and understand written English

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5+ years of related warehouse or distribution experience
• Associates or bachelor's degree in a related field
• Experience operating pallet jack, order picker, counterbalance, reach and turret trucks

The typical hourly pay rate for this position is $59,500-77,300 annually in Ohio. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
