Job Title: Lubricants Accounting Specialist Summary: The Lubricants Accounting Specialist plays a key role in supporting the financial operations of the Lubricants division. This position is responsible for a variety of accounting functions including inventory supplier billing, reconciling accounts payable, inventory management, and assisting with compliance of various supplier programs. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and enjoys working cross-functionally with internal teams and external vendors to ensure financial accuracy and operational efficiency. Pay range: $25/hr - $30/hr w/ 5% annual bonus potential Key Responsibilities:
- Reconcile accounts payable to ensure vendor balances and related inventory are accurate and up-to-date.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies, variances, and mismatches in invoices or inventory data.
- Perform lubricant billing activities in a timely and accurate manner.
- Support multi-site inventory management by verifying transactions, correcting errors, and maintaining audit trails.
- Execute monthly account reconciliations and assist with closing procedures.
- Provide administrative support and participate in cross-training initiatives to enhance team versatility.
- Assist with management of vendor-specific national account programs, including multiple marketing program compliance, rebate tracking and reporting.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and general file management; familiarity with PDI software is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Meticulous attention to detail with a focus on maintaining accuracy in all financial records.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective interaction with vendors, team members, and clients.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team culture.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
