DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a County Caseworker 3, you will conduct advanced professional duties with a primary focus of assisting the Program Specialist with the agency's Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) including conducting quality assurance and regulatory reviews, and ensuring the agency is continually implementing best practices. Specific duties entail completing case file reviews and detailed quality service reviews in order to develop and implement continuous improvement goals. You will also conduct site visits with contracted providers to provide training and technical assistance, as well as complete internal audits and interpret agency policies and procedures. Additional tasks involve gathering and interpreting data related to client satisfaction surveys in order to obtain feedback and ensure an optimal level of services. This professional is responsible for ensuring all programs remain in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Emergency duty coverage, as scheduled.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Two years of experience as a County Caseworker 2; or
- A bachelor's degree in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences and three years of professional social casework experience in a public or private social services agency; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training which includes 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences.
Other Requirements:
- PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
- You must pass a background investigation.
- A conditional offer of employment will require a drug screening.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
- Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
