Description Stephens HospitalProfessional - Clinical Summary: The Infection Prevention Specialist role is responsible for monitoring and responding to Healthcare Associated Infections (HAIs) and communicable infections by conducting surveillance, tracking cases, ensuring adequate isolation precautions, investigating suspected outbreaks, and helping develop and implement action plans to prevent and control infections. This role will monitor and respond to HAI infections and serve as the primary contact for regulatory agencies related to infectious disease. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
