Hatchery Production Technician

Staffmark is looking for dependable, hard-working individuals to join our team as Hatchery Production Technicians. In this fast-paced, hands-on role, you'll play an essential part in handling, preparing, and processing eggs and chicks while maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness.

Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday | 3:50 AM - 1:00 PM

Pay: $12.00/hour

Responsibilities:

• Receive, sort, and prepare eggs for incubation
• Load and unload egg shipments using pallet jacks or power equipment
• Operate egg-handling machinery, including the Automatic Rack Transfer (ART) machine
• Sanitize equipment and maintain a clean, safe hatchery environment
• Grade chicks, operate basket stackers, and prepare them for delivery
• Manage egg inventory and ensure proper rotation
• Perform in-ovo injection transfers with attention to minimizing breakage
• Use spray vaccination systems and support hatchery biosecurity protocols

• Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods
• Experience in agriculture or production is a plus, but not required
