MAINTENANCE WORKER - NIGHTS FULL TIME

Position Summary:

Under general supervision performs routine maintenance and repair of building, equipment and furnishings.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Completes preventative maintenance procedures as assigned on a daily basis.
• Complete all work orders within five working days from receiving.
• Replaces pipe and fittings in plumbing system, inspects pipe connections for leaks.
• Repairs walls by plastering holes cut, opens clogged drains, replaces stool drains, faucet washers, inoperative stool flush valves, shower heads and bends pipe.
• Assists in major plumbing projects with plumber.

Requirements:

• High School education or GED required.
• Current valid Oklahoma vehicle driver's license required.
• Up to six (6) months on the job training to learn the locations of equipment, supplies and hospital layout.
• Vocational training shop/courses preferred.
• Secure and TEAM Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Training within six (6) months of employment required.
• DOT HAZMAT training within 90 days of hire and required to be maintained (day shift only).
