The Ohio State University College of Medicine and the Wexner Medical Center seek an academic General Endocrinologist to join the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism. Academic rank and track commensurate with academic record and experience. Position Overview Division Overview The Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes amp; Metabolism has been recognized for excellence by U.S. News and World Report on an ongoing basis. We are committed to excellence in clinical care, the education of medical students, residents, and fellows, and discoveries to improve the care of patients with endocrine and endocrine-related disorders through laboratory and clinical research. Our division has a long history of developing novel interdisciplinary programs and has demonstrated outstanding performance in areas such as thyroid nodules and thyroid cancer, type 1 and type 2 diabetes and obesity, adrenal and pituitary disorders, and metabolic bone disease. The Division is supported by The Ohio State University College of Medicine, Wexner Medical Center, and The James Cancer Hospital. Duties and Responsibilities This is an academic position on the clinical track that emphasizes patient care to endocrine patients with a focus on thyroid nodules and thyroid cancer; instructs medical students, residents, and fellows; and basic or clinical research. Additional duties include, but are not limited to, thyroid ultrasound and fine needle aspirations, e-consults, and inpatient consults.
