POSITION SUMMARYBreakthrough is seeking a Senior Client Solutions Specialist to join our growing Client Solutions team. In this role, you will lead the implementation of sustainable fuel and freight solutions, working closely with clients, engineers, and internal stakeholders. You will play a critical role in shaping how our clients experience Breakthrough's FELIX platform - guiding them through onboarding, systems integration, and solution design.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Client Implementations
- Lead the implementation of clients across all Breakthrough products within the FELIX platform, including Fuel Recovery, Capac-ID, Network Intelligence, and CleanMile.
- Drive strategic conversations with clients to align technical solutions with business goals.
- Set, manage, and execute an implementation project plan as well as build and maintain relationships with project team members, internal and external.
- Develop and execute comprehensive testing plans for client implementation projects and internal platform enhancements.
- Guide clients through the implementation process, ensuring that their first experience as a client, with Breakthrough, exemplifies distinguished value and service.
- Attend and contribute to all internal and external meetings, providing both technical and business leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
- Technical Integration & Platform Configuration
- Design and implement end-to-end technical integrations, including API, AS2, SFTP, and Cloud Storage Transfers, to ensure seamless data exchange between Breakthrough and external systems.
- Manage and execute system configurations within our FELIX platform, ensuring that client-specific settings and integrations are precisely configured.
- Brainstorm solutions and transform requirements into detailed documentation of data flow diagrams and data mapping.
- Provide technical support for all integrations with clients and trading partners.
- Ability to utilize Cloud technologies, including cloud storage, logging, and monitoring, to assist in the overall client implementation process.
- Product & Innovation Support
- Collaborate with engineering teams to support the design, testing, and launch of new products, platform features, and APIs-contributing to both technical discussions and operational readiness.
- Manage and support day-to-day technical operations and system configurations.
- Lead the debugging and troubleshooting of specific client issues, ensuring accurate diagnosis and timely resolution.
- Identify opportunities to enhance implementation processes, tools, and documentation based on client feedback and project retrospectives.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate cross-functionally between internal and external business teams, project teams, and engineers to ensure the successful completion of each implementation and project.
- Work closely with Client Solutions Architects to build and improve our external integrations through in-depth design work.
- Mentorship & Documentation
- Serve as a subject matter expert on our FELIX platform, advocating for client needs and platform enhancements.
- Create and expand on centralized documentation for all external integrations and system processes.
- Mentor and guide other Client Solution Specialists.
QUALIFICATIONS
What essential qualifications and skills we are looking for:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in both Information Technology and Transportation/Logistics
- 5+ years of experience in Information Technology
- 5+ years of experience in Transportation & Logistics
- 5+ years of customer-facing experience
- Prior experience with TMS systems is a plus
- Prior experience in API, MFT, and EDI integrations is a plus
- Prior experience in Google Cloud, SQL, and Linux is a plus
