AgustaWestland Philadelphia Corporation (AWPC), established in 1980 as an after-market support, is a US subsidiary of Leonardo Helicopters. AWPC has witnessed a rapid growth over the past four decades with new facilities established in Louisiana and Florida. The Philadelphia site manages the production of AW119 / TH73-A, AW139 / MH-139, development and industrialization of AW609 Tiltrotor. In addition, the customer support services, and training organization manages support for across the Americas. The Planning & Business function works in collaboration with and in support of Program Management to ensure proper Governance of the Product Line Management through the different phases of product lifecycle, from product roadmap to contracts' delivery. The Planning Supervisor will coordinate the Scheduler/Planners activities in the execution of complex tasks related to the planning, budgeting and control of projects, assuring systematic and timely execution of activities, to include: monitoring project progress, following up with stakeholders on the completion of project tasks and producing reports. The selected individual will provide oversight and guidance while mentoring team members, support manager in development of resources, including regular check-ins, review of progression, assignments for development, onboarding of new hires. This activity includes pro-actively addressing planning issues, risks and challenges, verify accuracy and quality, encourage technical excellence and rigor in the group's work. Demonstrates the ability to coach assigned employees. The individual will integrate the data from different Programs/projects and liaise with PM and Finance to provide accurate reporting for integrated monitoring of progress through dedicated forecasting models. The individual should be able to work highly independently and perform assigned tasks in an efficient and timely manner, maintaining oversight of assigned activities. Will ensure that issues are identified and addressed promptly. Travel to Italy will be required a few times per year. 2.
