Consulting Services Group (CSG) is seeking a Project Implementation Manager (PIM) in support of a U.S. Government (USG) contract. PIM will interface with USG customers and perform a variety of project support requirements to ensure contractual deliverables are met.

This position is contingent upon the award of a Department of Defense contract.

Duties/Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Primary interface with USG customers to provide implementation and on-site support for a complex program.
  • Provide support for transition activities to include clear communication and documentation.
  • Plan, manage, monitor, and report on project schedules and deliverables throughout the contract lifecycle.
  • Coordinate with the Program Manager and on-site Government Project Officers (GPO) to deliver all items listed in the Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL).
  • Collaborate with Engineering for their support to include:
  • Coordination with vendors for network services and equipment.
  • Coordination of site surveys, circuit activations, data center integrations, network configuration, virtual desktop establishment, and maintenance of system infrastructure.
  • Interface with CSG Network Operations Center for:
  • Support to network administrators with account management, access, and other permissions to facilitate SOW.
  • Ensure communication is executed to enable rapid program responses for programmatic requirements.
  • Identify, communicate, and resolve issues & risks to eliminate or mitigate consequences that may impact project success.
  • Manage coordination for initial and on-going training requirements for end users.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must hold an active Department of Defense Top Secret Clearance and be SCI eligible with CI Polygraph
  • Minimum of six (6) years of experience managing complex programs.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment.
  • Ability to consistently follow up on tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to interact face-to-face with senior levels of management and customer organizations.
  • Ability to manage time and prioritize workload.
  • Ability to learn processes quickly and apply knowledge to unique situations.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in information technology, business administration, or comparable discipline or or equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.

  • Complex Problem Solving - Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
  • Procedures and Processes - Ability to provide explanations of complex procedures and processes clearly and accurately.
  • Positive demeanor, collaborative, and comfortable in a fluid environment that changes as the business evolves. Highly motivated self-starter who is passionate about continuous improvements.
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills, ability to identify and articulate key business implications.
  • Experience meeting with customers to formulate and review schedules and deliverable items and effectively executing in accordance with approved plans.

Other:

Work:

  • Work is typically performed in an office and/or data center environment, requiring computer terminals and standard office equipment to accomplish work objectives.
  • This is a full time position working normal workday hours, Monday to Friday, with weekends and holidays off.

Travel:

  • Local travel in the DC metro area required
  • Other periodic CONUS and OCONUS travel may be required.

Job location: Onsite in Quantico, Virginia. Remote telework is not available.
