Inovalon is seeking Senior Systems Development Engineers for Multiple Positions

Summary of Duties: Define, implement, and enforce governance and standards for Inovalon's commercial cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI, and Snowflake. Employ understanding of cloudbased infrastructure, virtual machines, storage, networking, and security. Work on developing commercial cloud governance and standards, defining, and implementing platform-level features, developing infrastructure as code, and supporting application engineering teams with application design and implementation. Apply commercial cloud best practices to design, develop, and implement AWS, Azure, and GCP platform-level features. Discover, review, and influence new and evolving design, architecture, and standards for building and delivering unique cloud-based infrastructure, applications, and services. Collaborate with application engineering teams to create, monitor, and troubleshoot system infrastructure. Work on service reliability, sustainability, and efficiency. Collaborate with product, application engineering, and security teams to ensure solutions realize non-functional requirements such as availability, performance, security, maintainability, and cost-efficiency. Develop, gather, and leverage metrics to manage cloud-based infrastructure to drive automation, improvement, and performance.

Qualifications: Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, a related field of study, or foreign equivalent, plus least 5 years of experience in the job offered or any engineering/developer/analytics related job titles. Applicants must have at least 5 years of experience in the following: (1) technologies, services, and infrastructure operations of cloud computing platforms including AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI, or Snowflake; (2) infrastructure as code automation and continuous integration/delivery tools including Azure DevOps, Azure Pipelines, or Terraform; (3) scripting experience with Terraform, Linux Shell, PowerShell, or Python; (4) infrastructure deployment, including installation/configuration/troubleshooting of Servers, Storage, and Networking; (5) AD(Active Directory) , GPO (Group Policy Object), RDS(Remote Desktop Service); and (6) Windows and/or Linux installation and configuration knowhow and automation skills. In addition to the base compensation, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.

The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. At Inovalon, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.

Base Compensation Range
$151,027 $161,027 USD
