Compensation:

The anticipated base pay compensation range for this position is$110,500.00 to$184,100.00.

Position Details:

Grainger is seeking a Product Manager to help advance software platforms that support Keepstock. These tools streamline complex inventory, storage, and replenishment workflows for our teams in the field. You'll collaborate closely with engineering, UX, and operations partners to deliver intuitive, performant solutions that reduce friction and improve productivity. The ideal candidate combines strong execution skills with the ability to translate complex systems into clean, usable interfaces, and can operate with structure and precision in high-accountability environments.

You will report to the Director, Product Management.

You Will :

  • Lead day-to-day product development for key feature areas, ensuring solutions are grounded in operational needs and technical feasibility.
  • Work closely with engineering to understand and simplify back-end processes and business rules into front-end product experiences that are easy to use and hard to misuse.
  • Write structured product requirements, user stories, and documentation with clear inputs, logic flows, and success criteria.
  • Use data to identify opportunities, evaluate trade-offs, and measure product impact, working with analytics to track key performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with UX to ensure product designs are informed by real user workflows and constraints.
  • Communicate updates, risks, and roadmap decisions through structured documentation and clear narrative, tailored to technical and business stakeholders.
  • Support rollout planning and change management in coordination with operations, training, and field enablement teams.

You Have:

  • 3+ years of product management, technical product ownership, or business analysis experience-ideally with internal tools or complex systems.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to explain decisions and tradeoffs through written docs, structured reasoning, and visual flows.
  • A working understanding of how APIs, services, and data models support front-end behavior and business logic.
  • Experience using SQL, Excel, or dashboard tools to investigate user behavior, monitor adoption, and shape backlog priorities.
  • A structured, systems-level mindset with attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical, analytical, or business field.
