Job Description
Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an excellent opportunity for a Personnel Assistant at the Fairfax Health Center in Fairfax, Virginia. Position Highlights:
Position Responsibilities:
- Answers weekly payroll questions, contacts staff for missing information, and ensures all documentation is received
- Serves as a liaison for staff regarding payroll or scheduling (Kronos system) issues
- Investigates, documents, and helps resolve discrepancies, corrections, or adjustments
- Prepares HRIS forms and other staffing actions as needed
- Opens and distributes correspondence, as well as periodically prepares and edits correspondence
- Contacts field staff to collect missing documentation for credentialing, re-credentialing, payroll, and other staffing actions
- Works on various tasks such as filing, writing correspondence, and special projects, as needed and assigned
Position Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED required
- Associates/Bachelor's degree or some college coursework preferred
- Advanced proficiency in various computer applications, e.g. word processing, excel spreadsheet, e-mail, database management and presentation software (to include spreadsheets, databases, slides, tables, graphs, and organizational charts)
