Our plant in Tomahawk, WI manufactures, finishes and ships composite and plastic parts to our final assembly plants. Join us as a HR Generalist.


Job Summary

The Generalist Human Resources serves as a champion of change who leads through influence with all levels of leadership in ways that best drives the execution of our company strategies and goals. This role works collaboratively to support assigned client groups to ensure we are leveraging our people, processes, and relationships to drive better business results. This includes fair and consistent application of people policies and programs including: performance management, talent acquisition (hourly and salaried), total rewards, employee/labor relations, workforce planning, and analytics.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide coaching and consultation to leaders and employees on employee relations matters in a dynamic and changing environment.
  • Conduct and support investigations related to complaints, documenting findings and actions.
  • Promote consistency and compliance in HR practices, including salaried recruitment and onboarding.
  • Partner with union representatives and management to address and resolve grievances and contract-related issues in a timely, respectful manner.
  • Partner with client groups to set and support team-based HR goals and initiatives.
  • Interpret and apply HR policies, procedures, and programs effectively across the organization.
  • Ensure fair and equitable treatment of employees in alignment with company values and legal standards.
  • Prepare and analyze reports related to HR metrics, workforce data, and trends to support decision-making.

Education Requirements
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
Experience Requirements

Required



  • Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of related experience.
  • Knowledge of professional guidelines on selection procedures, equal employment opportunity law, and affirmative action compliance requirements
  • Understanding of basic principles of compensation theory
  • Strong interpersonal skills, as well as strong written and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize work and work in a self-directed and fast-paced environment
  • A high tolerance for ambiguity and change
  • Core HR process delivery consistency, data management, compliance sustainment, reporting, and analytics experience

The pay range shown represents the national average pay range for this role. Your pay may be more or less than the stated range and is dependent on your geographic location and level of experience.
