This Position reports to:

Sales Manager

As an OEM Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing multiple account strategies focused on growth, profitability and customer satisfaction while coordinating all sales activities and managing resolution of customer problems. Responsibilities include assisting with project quotations, order management, customer training and demand generation to position ABB as the preferred vendor.

Your Role and Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary liaison between OEM customers and ABB, building strong, solution-oriented relationships.

  • Develop and execute strategic account and sales plans to grow market share, margin, and customer satisfaction.

  • Lead customer training initiatives on ABB products, services, and digital tools.

  • Identify and secure new OEM customers through outreach, webinars, networking, and cross-functional collaboration.

  • Coordinate internal teams to align with customer needs, share market insights, and resolve issues effectively.

  • Manage account negotiations and recovery plans to meet order and revenue targets.

  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends to inform strategic responses.

  • Drive cross-selling and simplify processes to deliver added value and ease of doing business with ABB.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of relevant experience in sales, contract negotiations, and working with OEM customers or channel partners.

  • Knowledge of the electrical industry and ABB products, with strong technical skills in applications and proposal development.

  • Proven ability to build relationships and respond to customer needs with a customer-focused mindset.

  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.

  • Proficient in sales tools and analytical software; Six Sigma or similar quality training preferred.

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and willing to travel within assigned district.
